Welcome in the sunny south of Südtirol Welcome to the land of castles, lakes and wine.

The guesthouse is owned by our family 1959 and it’s located on the wine road and surrounded by wine yards and apple threes.

Just a few kilometres distance from the main city of the Region Bolzano and located in a area known for the wine but also for the many castles, lakes and beautiful landscape.

Girlan is the perfect starting point for excursions and visits to the most important attractions of the region: the museum of the iceman "Ötzi" in Bolzano, the lakes of Montiggl and Kaltern, Reinhold "Messners-Mountain-Museum" on the Sigmungskron castle, the wonderful gardens of the Trautmannsdorf Castle near Merano.

The mighty mountains in the Dolomites, the famous valley of Valgardena/Gröden and the lake Garda or the Arena in Verona.

Beautiful and varied walking and hiking paths for all levels are offered in this southern district. Relaxed walkers get their money’s worth as much as demanding mountain freaks. In the valleys, there are several possibilities for excursions of the comfortable type. On a higher level, one can find well-marked hiking paths. Mountain tours for the entire family with interesting viewpoints can easily be reached!

Wastl’s guesthouse offers very cosy and clean room of European standard. All rooms have a bathroom with shower, and are equipped with hairdryer and also a safe is installed in the room for you personal belongings. The huge yard and the outdoor pool invites our guests to relax. Kids will find a huge and safe playground.

In our little restaurant "Speck Stube", which is open all day, you will find home style kitchen and typical products from the Region, as well of course the excellent South Tyrolean vines.
